The Project Called For Creating India’s First Sports Museum From Research To Commissioning Within 2 Months Using Least Capital Resource. The Site Was A Non-Operational Food Court In The 20 Acre GOLD LEED RATED Office Campus Of ECOSPACE. The Idea Was To Curate A 29 Year Personal Collection By Famous Sports Journalist BORIA MAZUMDAR And Inspire More Sports Stars To Visit And Contribute. As The Venture Was Non Profitable, The Idea Was To Reduce Both The Investment And Operational Cost. The Approach Was To Conserve And Reuse Whatever One Could. Apart From Gifting The Sports City A Sports Museum, Intent Was Also To Inspire The IT Campus Crowd To Talk And Live Sports For Mental And Physical Wellbeing. A Museum Which Can Weld Sports In Our New Generation And Develop A Sense Of Sports Conscious Community.
